More The Last of Us Remastered Details Likely Coming Next Week, Pre-orders “Strong” in UK

With only a few weeks to go until The Last of Us Remastered releases for the PlayStation 4 on July 29 in North America and July 30 in Europe, it’s definitely strange that we haven’t had any sort of gameplay video revealed to us yet.

This might change next week though, with the PlayStation Australia Facebook account teasing us with this:

20 days to go, but next week you’ll find out what we’ve got planned.

Whatever happens to be planned for The Last of Us Remastered, we’ll let you know.

Elsewhere, in the latest issue of MCV, SCEE Product Manager Josh Walker revealed that the game is expected to sell well, with pre-orders looking strong:

The Last of Us is the game of a generation, winner of over 200 Game of the Year Awards and five BAFTAs. It is now fully realised for the world’s most powerful console. Pre-orders are looking strong and we’re currently hitting our trajectory targets so we expect it to sell well.

At least in the UK, The Last of Us Remastered will be promoted heavily, with a campaign that includes multiple TV ads, ads at London Underground stations, ads across social media such as YouTube, and more.

Have you pre-ordered your copy?
