PlayStation LifeStyle PlayList: July 12 & 13, 2014 – Eight Million Hackers Edition

After Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs shipped over eight million copies, it appears that a number of the PSLS staff are among those that purchased the game, as evidenced by what is on deck for this weekend. While some will be hacking, others are planning on getting annoyed by repeated game music, and at least one of us is having issues with Chrome’s spellchecker, which can sometimes feel like a losing battle.

Here’s what everyone is playing this weekend:

Alex Co (@excaliburps)

Most likely it will be some EA Sports UFC for me and maybe Guacamelee! for the PS4. Oh, and maybe finally finish Outlast’s Whistleblower DLC!

Cameron Teague

I will be making my way through Diagon Alley this weekend, so my gaming time will be rather sparse. However, when I am not using my wand to cast all sorts of magical spells, I will be playing some more Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.

Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)

I finished up my Watch Dogs platinum last weekend, and I completed The Wolf Among Us this week, so it’s back to Final Fantasy X HD to continue the grind towards platinum. I have a pretty awesome set up that has Tidus, Wakka, and Auron near peak levels so that I can dominate my way through the rest of the characters’ sphere grids.

D’yani Wood (@Dyani)

I’ll be playing Animal Crossing at around 10 AM every day this weekend as usual (10 AM is when all the shops on Main Street are finally open), and I’ll be plugging my ears while Chandler grinds through FFX because of the dreaded battle music that haunts my nightmares.

Dan Oravasaari (@FoolsJoker)

This weekend, I am hoping to recharge my batteries and finally play through the rest of The Wolf Among Us.

Jason Dunning (@Jasonad21)

Since the Blue Jays aren’t winning many games in real life, I’ll probably boot up MLB 14: The Show and try to take them all the way to the World Series… provided the game version of Melky Cabrera can stop getting hurt!

Louis Edwards (@ftwrthtx)

This weekend will find me sniping around in Afrika looking for that missing weapons part. Stuck at 14/15 and have looked everywhere. I’ll be playing some co-op as well, so murder and mayhem shall keep me busy.

Paulmichael Contreras

Watch Dogs is on-tap for me this weekend. I’ve only played a handful of hours of it so far, so I’m hoping to make a nice dent in the story. I’ll also try not to die too much as I play TowerFall Ascension, which looks like some good couch competitive fun (Umm, Chrome? “Couch” is most definitely a word! Sheesh).

Zarmena Khan (@Zarmena)

I have managed to get through to the final act in Watch Dogs so I’ll be attempting to beat the game as soon as possible. If I’m done with it this weekend, I plan to clear my PS3 backlog of games, starting with the original inFamous. Wish me luck.

What will you be playing this weekend?
