We’ve been eager to find out what the Sony Santa Monica Studio has been up to. The God of War developer announced back in January that it was planning to move, and has been sharing regular Twitter updates about its new state-of-the-art premises called The Reserve located in Playa Vista.

This morning, the studio shared with us a photo of The Reserve (above), with the exciting message that its “next great game” will be created right there, and that it will be for the PlayStation 4.

Our next great game for @PlayStation 4 will be created in this new studio right here #TheReserve

Back in February, Sony Santa Monica had confirmed the cancellation of an upcoming IP, much to the dismay of its fans. But just last month, PlayStation Software Development Head, Scott Rohde, expressed his excitement about an upcoming project at the studio.

Perhaps, that’s what the “next great game” is, but we’ll have to wait for specific details to find out.
