July 25, 2014 Written by Jason Dunning

Available in the day 1 patch 1.01 for The Last of Us Remastered is Photo Mode, which will allow you to capture and share photos you take during the game. In order to use Photo Mode, you simply need to enable it in the pause screen, then you can activate at any point during gameplay (can’t be used in cut-scenes) by clicking L3 to freeze the action.

For more information about Photo Mode and how it works, check out the above video, or read about the options below:

Camera control, field of view, and depth of field adjustments will help you frame the perfect shot. Aesthetically, you can add one of ten different color filters and adjust its intensity. You can choose to give your photo a vignette or even select from a selection of eleven different frames. If you like the look of film grain, you can add that as well. There are a ton of options for you to explore.

Do you plan on using Photo Mode?
