Scheduled to release in August 2014 is Minecraft: PS Vita Edition, Minecraft: PS4 Edition, and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. According to a new UK TV ad for the PlayStation Vita though, Minecraft: PS Vita Edition won’t be released until September 2014.

While 4J Studios has been relatively quiet about the new versions of Minecraft since their original release date announcement post, they did offer up this update today:

We’re still fixing #MinecraftXbox1, #MinecraftPS4 and #MinecraftPSVita bugs. We’ll let you know when we hand over to the Cert testing teams!

Since Minecraft on any of the three platforms hasn’t passed through certification yet – a process which can take a few weeks – it’s highly possible the games won’t arrive this month.

Once we hear more about the release dates of Minecraft on PS Vita and PS4, we’ll let you know.
