Sony seems to be leading the current-gen console race and it doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon.

Over on German site Boerse Online, it states that data from research firm GfK indicates that the PS4 has sold over 540,000 PS4 units from release up to June this year. Also in the report, it mentions that in the same comparable period, Microsoft’s Xbox One only managed 170,000 units sold, which is about 1/3 of total PS4 sales.

Unless something drastic happens, it looks like Sony will dominate Germany. Keep in mind this isn’t just happening with hardware, either. In our post yesterday, Konami revealed that sales of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PS4 tripled those of the Xbox One.

For PSLS readers in Germany, how’s the now-gen console war there? Is Sony winning by a landslide as the report claims?
