Hohokum Trophy Guide
Welcome to PlayStation LifeStyle’s Hohokum Trophy Guide! There are 12 trophies to earn here and it is a shared list across PS4, PS3 and Vita. Sorry, no triple dip this time around! There is really nothing too difficult about any of these trophies. None of them are missable either, so you don’t have to worry about that. If you happen to mess up a trophy attempt you can exit the world and then reenter it to reset everything to try again. There is however, a speed run trophy. You only have 60 minutes to beat the game. If you’ve beaten the game already this shouldn’t be a problem, as you will already know what to do in each world.
Spoiler Alert: There are spoilers within the guide. If you haven’t finished the game and don’t want anything spoiled, it’s recommended that you complete the game before reading any further.
Hohokquick (Hohokumnavigus Furius) – Gold
– Complete the videogame Hohokum in under 60 minutes.
You need to beat all 15 worlds, and view the credits in the home hub world in under 60 minutes. This shouldn’t be too hard if you’ve completed the game already and know what’s required in each world. As soon as you enter world just go immediately for the objective and move on to the next world. You can skip the scrolling credits by pressing X, this will save time and take you directly to your final time. As soon as you best the last world press Start/Options and select “Visit Home” to begin the final scene and credits. The worlds can also be completed in any order. Below are videos detailing how to get through each world.
Nutpopper’s Regret (Popnutinus Minimus) – Bronze
– Equalize all the popnuts in the popnut tree.
This trophy is earned in the world that has people flying kites. There is a tree toward the bottom right side that has Popnuts on and around it. You have to bump into them to make them all the same size. Hold Circle just before bumping them to have more control of the ricochet that is caused from bumping the Popnuts.
Ragazzi del 99 (Gelatus purgutoria) – Silver
– Pay a visit to the Ice Cream seller.
You’ll need to do a couple of things across three different worlds to earn this trophy. First, go to world with all the Vases and go to the bottom. You’ll see a man on a ledge walking back and forth. When he starts to walk, fly into him. You have to do this three times. Each time, he will turn you into a different symbol. Remember the symbols and go back to the Popnut Forest world. Once there, go all the way to the bottom until you see stones with symbols on them. Bump into the stones that have the symbols that you were turned into by the man in the vase world. Once done correctly, a new portal will open up. Fly into the new portal, pick up the people walking on the right and bring them to the ice cream seller on the left of the world.
Nutpopper’s Delight (Popnutinus Maxia) – Silver
– Equalize all the popnuts in the popnut forest.
You will eventually come to world with a man on a platform surrounded by eyes. Just to the left of this man is the Popnut Forest. All you need to do is make all of the Popnuts the same size bumping into them. When you hit them, they will bounce you off, so hold Circle just as you are about to hit them to reduce the ricochet. There are a lot so just keep hitting them until a short cut-scene plays. That is when the trophy will pop.
