UK Sales Chart: The Sims 4 Holds Off Surging Watch Dogs to Finish First

It was an extremely good launch for The Sims 4, finishing first overall last week in the UK sales chart, making it the first PC-exclusive title to do this since Guild Wars 2 over two years ago.

Things weren’t as bright for the other new releases last week, with Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair on PlayStation Vita debuting at #29 (it is up 13 places and up 12% from the first week of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc though), and Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate on PS4 and Xbox One starting its run at 34.

Here’s the top 20 selling retail games in the UK for the week ending September 6, 2014, according to GfK Chart-track:

  1. The Sims 4
  2. Watch Dogs (up 19%)
  3. Metro Redux (down 58%)
  4. The Last of Us Remastered (down 30%)
  5. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (down 51%)
