In a press release, Focus Home Interactive has unveiled a new trailer for Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments called “Pretty Little Crimes.”

In the video, it shows off the complexity of the characters, and not the cases themselves, in Crimes & Punishments. According to Frogwares, “It is a trailer about empathy, blame, and punishment – not of the suspect, but of Sherlock himself, as he lives with the decisions made throughout the game.”

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment will also bring “moral changes” to the Sherlock Holmes series. Now, not only can players tasked with selecting the suspect who committed the crime, but also what to do with him/her. Players can either hand them over to the authorities, or even empathize with the perpetrator’s situation. And yes, that even includes setting them free if you wish. Committing suspects will mean that you must make a moral choice on what to do, and their fate will be in your hands.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments will be out this September 30 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
