Along with the Queen’s Wrath event happening right now in Destiny, Bungie has started the Salvage event today, with the Iron Banner going live on October 7.

Salvage (September 26 – 29)
Crucible Weekend Playlist
- Guardians fight to claim and salvage relics on small to medium sized maps in this intense 3v3 objective mode. Secure the relics. Disrupt enemy probes. Destroy the opposition.
- Rewards: Crucible Gear, Crucible Marks, Crucible Reputation.
The Iron Banner (October 7 – 14)
Special Crucible Event
- Champions are born in battle. Equip your most powerful gear and weapons. Prove your might and earn the respect of the Lords of Iron. Their emissary waits in the Tower to reward those who excel.
- Rewards: Legendary Iron Banner Gear; Iron Banner Emblems, Shaders, Ships.
Also in the Bungie Weekly Update, Community Manager DeeJ teased that a new update to Destiny will be available “very soon.”
