According to a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit with ex-DICE designer Tim Kjell, gamers should be cautious about purchasing Battlefield Hardline at launch.

Talking about some of the launch issues that Battlefield 4 faced, Kjell mentioned that he was one of the people who said “don’t buy it at launch,” but instead advised people to “wait for the launch & reviews to come out.” He also noted that people should do the same thing for Battlefield Hardline.

I would actually recommend people do that for Hardline as well – it’s just a much better way to not throw money at promises that have yet to be proven. If the game however is really stable and great on launch, go buy it with a feeling of satisfaction of a great buy 🙂 That’s exactly what I’m gonna do at least.

In your own opinion, do you think waiting a couple of weeks before picking up Battlefield Hardline is a good idea? Or will you be getting the game the day it comes out? And be sure to check out our interview with Ian Milham, creative director for Visceral Games, for his take on Hardline.
