Thomas Was Alone Comes to PS4, Xbox One, & Wii U in November

Expanding upon the original announcement, Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell revealed today that the game will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U in November, with development being handled by Curve Digital. Since the game includes cross-buy on PlayStation, anyone who has the PlayStation 3/PlayStation Vita versions will automatically receive the PS4 version when it’s released.

Bithell had this to say about today’s news:

Working with Sony on Thomas was a great experience and opened my eyes to the potential of smaller budget titles on consoles in general.

Curve Digital Managing Director Jason Perkins added:

Thomas Was Alone came to PlayStation right at the start of their campaign to make console development more appealing to smaller developers. Since then, indie games have become a much larger part of the landscape for all major platform holders. It’s exciting to be working with Mike again and to be able to bring the title to even more gamers while offering a free copy for original PlayStation fans.

Thomas Was Alone will cost £6.99/$9.99 on all platforms.

Bithell’s next game, Volume, is slated for release in 2015 on PS4 and PS Vita.
