Naughty Dog on Uncharted 4: “Trust Us, It’s Going to be Cool”

Yesterday, we learned from Naughty Dog Co-President Evan Wells that they’d have some Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End “stuff” to show us “very soon.”

Today, the recent interview between Game Crate and Game Director Bruce Straley went live, with Bruce revealing that Uncharted 4 development is going “awesome” and, just like every other game he’s been director on, “I’m really, really excited about what we’re doing.”

Straley added:

We’re still trying to figure it out and yet I have faith in the team, I have faith in where we’re going with it. I can say we have some really, really, cool ideas that I’m really excited to… sometime show you. That’s all I can say but it’s going to be awesome. I’m excited so you should be excited. Naughty Dog has a track record and just trust us, it’s going to be cool.

We don’t quite know when exactly Uncharted 4 will next be shown off, but we are guessing (and hoping) that something might happen on the 1 year anniversary of the game’s reveal in mid-November.

Bruce also talked about The Art of Naughty Dog in the interview, teasing how there’s one image in the book that he wishes he could have dug a bit deeper on. Straley wouldn’t reveal which one it is though, because it’s “still in the back of my mind that I’d like to make a game out of [it].”

He continued:

Yeah, I’m just letting you know. It’s very possible. There’s still a story, there’s some great game ideas, and there’s a lot of really cool stuff in the thing that I think would be cool to see Naughty Dog do this game. I don’t think anybody could do this game like Naughty Dog could do this game. One image.

Will you be buying The Art of Naughty Dog to try to guess what that one image is?
