Japanese Sales Chart: DriveClub Debuts to Under 10,000, 3DS Destroys Everyone

Thanks to the New Nintendo 3DS models and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, it was a huge week for the 3DS, with MH4U moving over 1.4 million copies and the New Nintendo 3DS combining to sell 235,000 units.

The older 3DS models also did well, with the 3DS XL the third best-selling console, beating out the falling PlayStation Vita and surging PlayStation 4 – likely thanks to FIFA 15, rather than DriveClub. As for the regular 3DS, that outsold the Wii U and PlayStation 3.

Elsewhere, the race between the Xbox One and PlayStation Vita TV grows even tighter, with only 72 units separating them.
