“No Plans” for Netflix on PlayStation TV Right Now

Yesterday when the PlayStation TV launched in North America, we let you know of how Netflix wasn’t working on the device, and when Sony was talking about video streaming apps for PS TV they said, “Stay tuned for additional entertainment content we’ll be adding soon to the PS TV lineup.”

Unfortunately, as a Netflix rep told Gizmodo, “We have no current support plans for Netflix on PS TV.” While this doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll never see it on PS TV, it does hint that it could be some time before it’s useable.

As for games compatibility, SCEA’s Don Mesa responded to a person on the PS Blog who pointed towards third-party titles Ragnarok Odyssey ACE, Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection, Sword Art Online, and others not working:

Soul Sacrifice Delta should work after downloading the patch. I’ll look into this.

As for the [third-party] titles mentioned we’re talking with the respective publishers. More on this soon.

Which games are you hoping become compatible with the PlayStation TV?
