Home Releases on PS4 Next Week for $3

Coming in just under the wire for a pre-Halloween launch, Director Benjamin Rivers revealed that his horror game Home will release on October 28 in North America (no word on Europe) for the PlayStation 4. Including cross-buy with the PlayStation Vita version that will “follow very soon after,” Home on PS4 is going to cost $2.99 for the first two weeks of availability.

Mentioning that the added Trophies will encourage you to find some of the little details, Rivers talked about exactly what Home is:

This horror adventure is a player-driven story that responds to your choices; taking cues from adventure games as well as side-scrollers, what happens in Home is entirely up to the player. As you make choices and even explore, the game changes in subtle ways to reflect your adventure. I like to think of it as the kind of game you’ll immediately want to talk about with other players as soon as you finish it, just to compare notes.

To see the game in action, Rivers will be hosting a Twitch stream on Tuesday, October 28 at 5pm PT/8pm ET.

Will you spend $3 next week to buy Home?
