John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment, has revealed in a tweet that the Planetside 2 PlayStation 4 beta is “coming in the next few months.” He also posted the photo that you can see above, which shows the game running on the system. Smedley said:
Ps2 on Ps4 looking really good. Running on live pic servers now. Helps us test.
Beta is coming in the next few months.
When it’s beta time jump on in!
While it’s nice to hear some beta-related news, fans who have been waiting for the game might want to note that Planetside 2 is likely to come out in 2015. We’re already into November so the “next few months” mean we should expect the beta early in 2015 as well.
We’re not complaining, though. Plenty to keep us busy until then!
