For anyone that plays Spelunky, and that should be a lot of you, since it was free via PlayStation Plus last month, you might be happy to know that the game has just gotten a few new features.

These new features impact PlayStation 4, PS3, and PS Vita versions of the game. All three systems got a “fast forward replay” feature, which allows users to speedily watch other players’ run-throughs of Spelunky’s various levels. On top of that, all three versions received a number of bug fixes.

Besides those changes, the PS3 version and the PS Vita version also now allow players to see friends’ ghosts in the Daily Challenge, allowing explorers to try to compete with their buddies. One last addition to the game impacts only the PS Vita version, and it contains support for up to four players via PSTV.

What do you think of the new additions to the game? Do you still play Spelunky at all?
