It turns out February 2015 won’t be home to two big PlayStation 4 exclusives, as Sony announced today that Bloodborne is delayed until March 24, 2015 in North America and March 25, 2015 in Europe (March 27, 2015 in the UK and Ireland).

Sony Japan Studio Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa talked about the delay:

It is with regret that I must inform you that Bloodborne will be slightly delayed.

While development continues unabated, we would like our team to deliver the best possible final experience. We were gratified by the feedback and data we received from those who participated in our limited Alpha test. The extra production time will also allow us to better integrate these learnings.

Likely coming at PlayStation Experience (or possibly The Game Awards), Yamagiwa teased that we’ll be getting some “exciting” Bloodborne news in early December.

Are you disappointed by the delay? What do you think the exciting news might be?
