While it wasn’t the smoothest launch for Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One thanks to day one PS4 patch download issues and Grand Theft Auto Online transfer problems, Rockstar was able to quickly fix everything by issuing a new patch for the game, updating their Support website today to say:
This issue [with GTA Online transfers] has been resolved as of today [November 19]. Affected Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users can now join GTA Online without issue, and all migrations are now working on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
When it comes to that second patch (1.18 on PS3/360, 1.02 on PS4/Xbox One) yesterday, Rockstar revealed what exactly was affected:
- Fix for GTA Online that prevents issues with player vehicle data.
