Final Fantasy XV Demo May be Limited Time-Only

Included inside pre-ordered copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a voucher code for the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo.

While we don’t know when the demo will actually be available, Game Director Hajime Tabata spoke about it in a Square Enix Presents interview yesterday, revealing we may only have access to it for a short time:

For the users who have been waiting, we really wanted to provide a version of the game that could be played as soon as possible, so we thought up this sort of gift. But rather than make it available forever, we’re thinking of a cut-off period. It wouldn’t be a very long period, in order to make its existence feel a little more special.

Nothing is set in stone about having a cut-off date for the demo as of right now, with Square Enix only thinking about it at the moment.

Re-iterating previous details, Tabata also said the demo could last anywhere from one hour to four hours.

Earlier this week, PlayStation uploaded two videos for Final Fantasy XV, with the first from October 31, lasting 10 minutes, and offering a walkthrough:
