Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Update Aiming for This Week, Fixes Map Exploits & Spawn Issues

Over the weekend, Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder Michael Condrey confirmed that a new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare update is on the way for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will receive every update after the other platforms).

We’ll have to wait until the patch notes are posted when the update goes live, but we do know there will be weapon balancing, ranked play updates, map exploits and spawn fixes, and optimizations. As it stands, Condrey is hoping to have the update out by this weekend, though he does note that they are “waiting for first-party approval.”

Condrey also says that the update fixes team killing in Hardcore Search & Destroy.

He then added that they’re looking into non-redeemable items taking up too many spots, and bumper jumper is on the list of things coming in future updates after the one this week.

Stay tuned for all the details of this latest update once they become available.
