Dying Light Season Pass Includes Exclusive Missions, New Competitive Game Mode (Update 2)

Update 2:

Further details about the Season Pass show that it will cost $19.99/£15.99/€19.99, with more information about the DLC packs placed below:

  • Cuisine & Cargo – Available first for Season Pass holders, these two hardcore missions let players put their skills to the ultimate test. Investigate buildings sealed off in the very first days of the outbreak – with the infected inside. Explore ominous corridors of once the most famous restaurant in Harran, and employ both stealth and combat to ransack a zombie-filled loading bay at an abandoned railroad yard.
  • Ultimate Survivor Bundle – Players will receive seven unique in-game items that will bring fighting zombies to a whole new level. Grab three special outfits and four blueprints for over-the-top weapons to make your survival in the quarantine zone a good bit easier.
  • The Bozak Horde – The final Season Pass drop will deliver a new map and gameplay, playable in either single-player or co-op. Go inside the Harran Stadium, the most famous landmark in the city, and test your combat know-how against relentless hordes of the Infected. Fight increasingly stronger and larger enemy waves as you oppose a mysterious psychopath called Bozak.

Update:

The Dying Light Season Pass has been confirmed.

Saving you 10% over buying the three DLC packs separately, here’s what you can expect:

  • 1 new map
  • 2 hardcore missions
  • 3 special skins
  • 4 outrageous weapons

The first content will debut in February 2015.

Original Story:

With Dying Light now available for pre-order in the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 4 ($59.99 in Canada and the US), we’ve learned that there will also be a Season Pass available for the game.

Found in the Dying Light Ultimate Edition listing, you’ll be able to get the game itself and Season Pass for $79.99, suggesting the Season Pass will cost $19.99 on its own. We’re still awaiting full details from Techland about the Season Pass, but here’s what we know so far:

Experience the horror of a zombie apocalypse in its entirety with Dying Light on PlayStation 4! Become Kyle Crane and set out for a suicidal mission in a zombie-infested quarantine zone. Receive additional weapons and skins, exclusive missions, and a brand-new competitive game mode thanks to the Season Pass.

If you do pre-order Dying Light, you’ll also receive the Be the Zombie multiplayer mode and Master Scavenger skin.
