PS4 Firmware Update 2.03 Out Now, Improves Operation Quality of Some Applications

Required before you can use the online features of your PlayStation 4, firmware update 2.03 went live for download earlier today, December 3.

After saying that updating your PS4’s system software will allow you to “enjoy various additional features and enhanced security,” Sony revealed that this is nothing more than a stability patch:

  • Operation quality during use of some applications has been improved

For those of you who need to download the update to a USB stick, it will take up 207MB of space and is available from the US and UK PlayStation sites.
