After Evolution Studios gave away the November 2014 DriveClub DLC to everyone for free, the December 2014 DLC, the Redline Expansion Pack, has been announced for release on December 17 in Europe and December 23 in North America. No price was given, but it will be free to owners of the Season Pass.
Inside the new DriveClub pack, you’ll receive the five cars shown in the video – Renault Alpine AIID-50, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Mercedez-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive, McLaren F1 LM, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray – a new Tour with 11 new events, and five extra Trophies:
If you’re wondering whether or not the new content will support dynamic weather, Evolution said, “The Elements Tour does & future tours will also.” Also, “If you had issues [downloading] & playing the free Ignition Expansion, please try again (go to Ignition Tour in the game, select event, [download] cars).”
For the future of DriveClub, replays and private lobbies are coming in a future update, while the PlayStation Plus Edition is still on hold.
