Romancing SaGa Goes PS2 Classic + Special Edition in Japan

Square Enix took to the stage in Tokyo to celebrate SaGa‘s 25th anniversary. Available for 3,990 yen (about $34 US at the current exchange rate) is this special edition pack of the PS2 RPG Romancing SaGa, which includes a download code, special case in which you put nothing because your game is digital, and a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle seen here:

The order page says you can download your game as of March 12, 2015, and must do so before Sept. 11, 2015.

Announcements from the anniversary show are still rolling in and include a SaGa-themed train rolling around Saga prefecture. Sadly, I don’t think the train will feature the SaGa series’s non-linearity. It’s a little more stuck on rails than that. Eh? Eh? I’ll show myself out.
