Japanese Sales Chart: January 19 – 25, 2015 – Tales of Zestiria Debuts Strong at #1

Coming to North America and Europe later this year (read our thoughts), Tales of Zestiria launched on PlayStation 3 in Japan last week, easily topping the charts with over 340,000 sales. The game didn’t help out PlayStation 3 hardware sales very much though, with the system only rising by 1,600 to 8,600, finishing behind the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, each of which were down compared to the previous week.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling retail games in Japan between January 19, 2014 and January 25, 2015, according to Media Create:
