Earlier this week, we reported that Square Enix is set to reveal a PlayStation 4 exclusive title, code named Project Code Z. At the Tokaigi 2015 event earlier, it was revealed that the game is a free-to-play title, Minna de Spelunker Z.
Siliconera reports that this latest installment of Spelunker is a multiplayer title, and will release in Japan on March 19, 2015. It is similar to Spelunker HD for the PlayStation 3 in that friends will be able to team up and explore the platformer together.
There’s no word on a Western release yet, but considering that Spelunker HD saw a European and North American release, we’re guessing Minna de Spelunker Z will make an appearance in these regions at some point down the line.
