Platinum Games, the creator of games like Vanquish and The Legend of Korra, recently decided to re-envision their popular Bayonetta series as an addictive, little 8-bit game called Angel Land.
In a Twitter post, Creative Producer JP Kellams sent out a link to Angel Land, which can be played for free on Platinum’s website.

The game only has two controls — shoot and jump — but possesses a type of Flappy Bird-esque addictive quality about it. Even though I can’t seem to get past a pitiful 2,000 points, I just keep going back and failing again and again.
