Bandai Namco has recently registered a trademark for Soldiers’ Soul, which has grabbed the attention of Souls series fans across the world. The trademark was filed in Europe with the Office For Harmonization In The Internal Market (OHIM). Bandai Namco is the publisher of From Software’s games.
As with all trademark news, this one should be taken with a grain of salt as well. It doesn’t necessarily mean Soldiers’ Soul has something to do with the Souls series, but it hasn’t kept fans from hoping. From Software’s upcoming game, Bloodborne, is due to be released on March 24 for the PlayStation 4.
