Just like Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne will feature “many boss enemies of all shapes and sizes, and there will be a variety of ways to defeat them,” according to PR Manager Yasuhiro Kitao.
One of these bosses is the Darkbeast, who is an electric beast that emerges from giant skeletal remains. Attacking with erratic and off-speed movements, you can see this boss in action in the above gameplay video from IGN.
Here’s Sony’s description of the boss:
A malformed beast enveloped in blue lightning.
With a long body made of only bones, and a wrinkle-covered skull, people say this beast must be very old, very ancient.
Or perhaps, it is a descendent of the city of the plague of beasts.
Bloodborne launches for the PlayStation 4 on March 24 in North America and March 25 in Europe. Between now and then, Sony says they have “more in store” for us.
