Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Collector’s Edition, Box Art Revealed

March 4, 2015Written by Jason Dunning

Confirming yesterday’s leak, Konami officially announced today that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will launch worldwide on September 1 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, while the PC version arrives on September 15.

Set nine years after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Snake wakes up from a coma and begins a journey of revenge. As we learned yesterday, Snake won’t be talking much this time around, and Hideo Kojima considers this the last Metal Gear as it wraps up the saga he created with his other Metal Gear games.
