The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Could Take “200+ Hours” to do Everything, Says Designer

If you plan on doing everything possible in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it could take you over 200 hours.

This is according to Senior Game Designer Damien Monnier, who replied to someone on Twitter asking how long the game is. “Mmmm hard to say, if you do everything I’d say 200+ hours,” he said.

Monnier also answered a few other questions, which you can see below:

  • Jumping won’t be button prompted. “You can jump all the time if that’s what you’re into.”
  • The Witcher 3 will be 100% uncut in Germany.
  • There will be a Trophy/Achievement for playing in Dark Mode.
  • The PS4 version of The Witcher 3 equals “high [PC settings] I would say. Hard to say without side by side but I’ve been known to confuse PC and PS4 in the past.”

Recently, Senior Art Producer Michal Krzemiński said The Witcher 3 would offer over 100 hours of gameplay, and some players will probably “add thrice as more to that.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on May 19 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
