Metal Gear Legacy Collection

It’s been quite an eventful last several days for Konami and Hideo Kojima. After removing Kojima’s name from the Silent Hills website and the Metal Gear Solid website, as well as various product pages and logos, it looks like Konami decided to replace his name on the product page of at least one game.

If you take a look at the product page for Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection, you’ll notice numerous references to Kojima in the game’s description.

From the critically acclaimed director, Hideo Kojima, METAL GEAR SOLID: The Legacy Collection offers the most complete METAL GEAR SOLID experience ever.

The “Metal Gear” series is the seminal work of Hideo Kojima, Japan’s master game creator, and the progenitor of the stealth action game genre

The game’s branding image also feature Kojima’s name, although at the time that this was written it does not look the product pages of any other titles have references to Kojima on them.
