Fresh off announcing The Escapists, Team17 and developer Modern Dream announced today that “70s cop-themed top-down shooter” LA Cops is releasing for the PlayStation 4 on April 21 in North America and April 22 in Europe at $14.99/£10.99/€13.99. This is just over a month after it launched for Xbox One and PC.
Further described as a “rad action game with a tactical aspect that sees you cleaning up the mean streets of 70s LA one action packed shootout at a time,” LA Cops allows you to choose from six different cops (you take control of two cops at a time) while playing through 13 levels. You’ll also be able to choose from five upgradable weapons, including Pistols, Uzis, Shotguns, Assault Rifles, and Grenade Launchers.
