Update:

Our readers have brought to our attention a tweet by photojournalist Matt Hackney in which he quotes Guillermo del Toro saying with reference to Silent Hills, “It’s not gonna happen and that breaks my greasy heart.” He reportedly said this during the San Francisco Film Festival. We can’t comment on the authenticity of this news, so make of it what you will.

Original story:

Konami has posted a notice on its official website, stating that the Silent Hills playable teaser (P.T.) will be removed from the PlayStation Store on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. The message reads:

The distribution period of “P.T. (Playable Teaser)” on PlayStation®Store will expire on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

What comes next for Silent Hills remains to be seen. The title’s future has been a point of discussion ever since Hideo Kojima and Konami parted ways. The company has yet to provide an update on this.
