Killzone: Shadow Fall Lawsuit Settled Out of Court

Last year, Douglas Ladore of California sued Sony Computer Entertainment America over some false advertising about Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s graphics. Sony tried to dismiss the case, but US District Judge Edward Chen did not allow the case to be thrown out. However, instead of ending up in court, it looks like Sony and Ladore have settled the matter for themselves.

As of right now, the terms of their out of court settlement have not been disclosed, although it is known that both parties must pay their own costs. Initially, Ladore’s lawsuit sought upwards of $5 million dollars after claiming that Sony advertised Killzone: Shadow Fall as having a native 1080p resolution, even though the game ran at something a little lower.
