The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Day One Update Will Only be Minor, New Video Talks About the Monsters

In a new video from CD Projekt Red, the developer walks us through how you’ll be able to kill all the different enemies in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Here’s the video description:

In order to become the best monster hunter, you must first learn how to understand your foes – where they can be found, their attack pattern, and what they fear. And it is your job to figure out the best way to kill them.

On Twitter, Level Designer Miles Tost revealed that there will be a day one update for The Witcher 3, “But not because we need it, but because we want it to be the best it can be when it reaches your hands.”

The patch won’t be a big one though, and just includes a couple of minor additional tweaks. “Game is done and good to play as is,” he added, meaning that you won’t be missing out on important content without the download.

Responding to another Twitter user, Tost said, “[As far as I know] no internet needed for any version except for maybe downloading some initial release stuff. After that, free to go.”

As for the PS4/console footage of The Witcher 3 coming this week, he explained, “It just takes a bit to capture and cut footage. Nothing to hide, game is already being reviewed.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on May 19 in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
