Side-Scrolling Platformer Red Goddess: Inner World Out Next Month on PS4, PS Vita in 2016

Developed by Yanim Studio and successfully Kickstarted last year, Red Goddess: Inner World is releasing first on PlayStation 4 in late June 2015. Then, in October 2015, it will come to Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux. Finally, in Q1 2016, it arrives on PlayStation Vita and Wii U.

Creative Director Yannick Puig said the staggered release is due to testing and debugging taking longer than anticipated. Puig adds, “The team wants to deliver the best possible game at release and will use the extra time to add voice-over for the narrator character, as well as a number of bug fixes to make for a well-polished experience.”

A non-linear side-scroller with platforming and combat, Red Goddess sees you playing as a troubled deity named Divine who is confused and haunted by her past. Exploring her inner mind, your goal is to remember and recover her powers, all while something is trying to destroy her from the inside out.

In her journey, Divine is helped by two alternate personalities, Rage and Fear, who embody her emotions. The enemies, meanwhile, are her own negative thoughts.
