Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster Announced for PS4 & PS3, Releases in Early 2016

Confirming an earlier rumor, Capcom officially announced a Resident Evil Zero HD remaster is coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in early 2016. If it’s anything like this year’s Resident Evil remake, it could arrive in January.

Calling it a “modern update similar to this year’s enhanced REmake,” Capcom will give us more information about the Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster “very soon.”

For now, you can check out a video from the producers above (make sure subtitles are enabled), as well as details on the dev team below:

The dev team – including Koji Oda, RE Zero’s original director –  is hard at work on RE Zero, but took some time away from their screens to record this personal message. You might say RE producer Hirabayashi-san is “passing the torch,” but instead of a torch it’s a… well just watch the video.

What changes do you hope to see in the Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster?
