Last month, EA revealed that a new Plants vs Zombies game is coming to consoles (likely PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and PC in Q1 2016, along with Mirror’s Edge. Thanks to some EA job ads spotted by Videogamer today, it appears as though it’ll be a sequel to Garden Warfare.

In the listing for an Associate Interface Designer at PopCap Games, they specifically mention the Garden Warfare series:

Popcap HD is looking for a talented Interface Designer to help bring the UI of a new Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare game to life. This role will assist in building screens and visual elements for a colorful and vibrant user interface. The UI will present information to the player in a user-friendly manner, so this role benefits greatly from skills in visual design, color, layout, icon design and typography.

Another listing talks about the new game being a shooter, which Garden Warfare was:

We are currently seeking a Designer/Scripter to help us create engaging mission experiences for an upcoming shooter.

EA is holding their E3 2015 press conference on Monday, June 15 at 1pm PT/4pm ET, where more information about this Plants vs Zombies game should be revealed.

What would you like to see in a Garden Warfare sequel?
