Ahead of its official release on June 9 at midnight local time in North America and Europe, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited digital game and its updates are now available for pre-load on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Bethesda announced today.

As revealed in April, there will be 15GB worth of updates (patch 1.01, 1.02, and 1.03 are all out now), in addition to the base game download running you about 40GB on both consoles. You can learn more about pre-loading on PS4 and Xbox One by following the links.

Bethesda also explained how the PC-to-Console Account copy will work:

If you purchased The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited with account copy for Xbox One and/or PS4, you will receive an email on Monday, June 8th when your game code is available. Once you have your game code, you will need to redeem it in the corresponding Xbox One or PS4 account system.

There’s still time to pre-order The Elder Scrolls Online in North America and Europe, with PlayStation Plus members receiving a 10% discount in North America.

As a reminder, no monthly subscription fee is required for The Elder Scrolls Online, though, according to the PlayStation Store, you will need to be a PlayStation Plus member to play the game.
