Castlevania Dev’s Bloodstained Meets Funding for a PS Vita Version

We mentioned last week that Castlevania developer Koji Igarashi’s upcoming title, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, will be coming to the PlayStation Vita should it raise $3.5 million. Well, it has managed to do exactly that and more!

According to the game’s Kickstarter page, Bloodstained is “well past” the $3.5 million mark. Vita owners will now be able to get the following:

  • Digital and physical copies of the game
  • Export game music to the Vita’s library
  • PS4 cross-save support
  • Touchscreen map support
  • PlayStation TV support

As previously reported, Armature Studios will be working on the Vita port.

Now that this stretch goal has been met, the developers have added a bunch of other stretch goals to the campaign including orchestrated tracks, an online challenge mode, a third playable character, a prequel mini-game for PC/consoles, and a prequel mini-game for handhelds.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is scheduled for release sometime in March 2017.
