Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Trademarked in Europe, EA Confirms Name in Tweet

A new Mirror’s Edge game is set to come out early next year, and it looks like it will be called Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.

NeoGAF user Rösti discovered that a trademark for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was recently filed in Europe. The representative listed on the trademark form is J A Kemp, a company that EA has apparently been working with for a while. On top of that, the domain name “MirrorsEdgeCatalyst.com” was registered on June 4, although nothing currently shows up after traveling to the site.

Soon after the discovery, EA posted this from their official Mirror’s Edge Twitter account, which essentially confirms the game’s name:

EA is set to showcase the newest Mirror’s Edge game at E3 2015, and it is known that the game will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
