Japanese Sales Chart: Splatoon Stays At #1, PS Vita’s Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus Debuts in 2nd

Following up its strong debut last week, Splatoon for the Wii U sold another 69,000 copies last week, bringing its total to 213,000 and helping the Wii U top hardware once again.

Elsewhere, PlayStation 4 hardware sales were ahead of PlayStation Vita, with Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus on Vita the highest-placing new release this week in 2nd overall, followed by Natsuiro High School on PS4 in 3rd.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling retail games in Japan from June 1 – 7, 2015, according to Media Create:
