Kojima Might Have Hinted at Break With Konami in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

We already know that P.T. contained some content that might have hinted at Hideo Kojima’s break with Konami, but it looks like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes also may have hinted at Kojima’s departure.

In the Déjà Vu mission in Ground Zeroes, players can explore the mission’s map and find the logos of all previous Metal Gear games. They then are able to shine a light on those logos, causing them to disappear. The strange thing, though, is that only the the logos of games that Kojima directed can be erased. A gameplay video of the mission can be seen above, and it highlights the disappearing logos.

Recently, Kojima’s name was actually erased from the box art of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and the Japanese voice actor for Snake said that Kojima Productions has disbanded.  Was Kojima trying to tell us something in the Ground Zeroes Déjà Vu mission, or do you think it was just a coincidence?
