Red Ash Kickstarter Adds PS4 Stretch Goal Following Backer Poll

When Comcept announced the $1 million console stretch goal earlier this month for Red Ash: The Indelible Legend, they left the decision of which console it would be up to backers. Following a recent poll in which more than 66% of the 2,629 voters chose a PlayStation 4 version, the PS4 stretch goal is officially live.

Posting on their Kickstarter page, Comcept said they’ve been checking poll results on a daily basis and the PS4 had been winning ever since it started. Thanks to the fan support, the developers were also able to confirm PS4 development with Sony:

As promised, we took the in-progress results of this poll to our 1st party contacts and were able to make headway in our negotiations with the various parties.

As a result, we were able to officially confirm the development of Red Ash for the PlayStation 4.

If you’re hoping for Red Ash on another platform, Comcept said, “We are going to keep the current console port poll open as well, so that we will know which console to prioritize next. This team will always be dedicated to bringing Red Ash to any platforms that we feel are a good fit for the project.”

Despite all this good PS4 news, the Red Ash Kickstarter has just nine days to go and is sitting at $462,000 of its $800,000 goal for the PC version, with another $200,000 after that needed to make the PS4 version a reality.

Do you think Red Ash will get funded?
