“Critical” Galak-Z Update on PS4 Improves Performance, Adds Content

August 3, 2015 Written by Jason Dunning

Releasing tomorrow, August 4, on PlayStation 4 in North America, Galak-Z from 17-Bit is still available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store, with PlayStation Plus members receiving 20% off.

A 2.4GB download for the game, there’s also a 2.4GB update available right now, which developer 17-Bit says is critical:

Creative Director Jake Kazdal said in response to the big file size, “We re-rendered all the videos and added a ton of new dialogue since the first build. Future patches should be much smaller.”

For those of you in Europe waiting for Galak-Z, 17-Bit said, “It’s coming!! Everything is in the final stages and it should be ready to go live shortly… we’ll announce ASAP.”

A PlayStation Vita version of Galak-Z was originally planned, but 17-Bit ultimately cancelled it due to technical limitations.

Featuring one Gold, three Silver, and seven Bronze, you can check out the Galak-Z Trophy List over here.

Will you be buying Galak-Z this week?
