Star Wars Battlefront Supremacy Mode Will Never Let Players “Feel Isolated From the Fight”

Just a few short days ago, players of the alpha version of Star Wars Battlefront found out some information in the game’s files, including a bit of info on the title’s Supremacy mode. Today, Lead Level Designer Dennis Brännvall revealed more details on the game mode on the official Star Wars EA website, including how it will play.

Brännvall explained that Supremacy will have players fighting for control of five control points scattered around the map. Each round will last ten minutes, and the team that controls the most points at the end of the round will win. At the start of the game, each team will control two control points, which means players will be facing an almost constant state of action.

Supremacy is a game mode that will excite fans of the Conquest mode from Battlefield. That said, we’ve made several tweaks to improve the formula. You will always spawn close to the action when you enter Supremacy, so you’ll never feel isolated from the fight. By focusing on one key point at a time, players not playing the objective and camping on a hill somewhere will be a rare sight.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to release on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Will you be playing Supremacy mode?
