Bound for Vita, PS3, and PS4, the next Atelier game just got a bunch of new screenshots and info.
In battle, we can see the start of “chain link” attacks in which characters team up and arrange themselves for special effects, such as boosted offense, defense, and so on. It was also revealed that Plachta, the blinding-white character with the light purple hair, is recovering lost memories. In battle, she casts spells from a book and uses item concoctions to her advantage.
Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will come out in Japan on Sept. 25. While fans usually can rely on Atelier games coming west these days, there hasn’t yet been an official confirmation of Atelier Sophie.
